The EurAsia '98 Association is a UK organisation dedicated to the genetic study of Eurasian populations. Its primary mission is to fund anthropological fieldwork on the human populations living in the "Eurasian transition zone," stretching from Eastern Europe through Russia, Siberia, the Caucasus, the Iranian plateau, and Central Asia. This region forms the meeting point of East and West in the Old World, and we feel that it holds the key to understanding European and Asian prehistory.
